Individual Membership Renewal

The individual membership renewal process is completed twice per year in the North Florida Council.

A hard-copy roster of all youth & adults with membership expiration dates falling between August 1-December 31, 2025 will be provided at the August Roundtable. A soft copy will be emailed by your local Executive in advance of Roundtable to each unit’s currently registered Key 3 (Unit Leader, Committee Chair & Charter Organization Representative).

Action Steps for Unit Leaders:

  1. Communicate payment methods & an August deadline for payment from continuing families.
  2. Note either “renew” or “drop” for each member, along with whether any members are paying for the Scout Life magazine subscription. Collect fees from all renewing youth & adult members. Due to ongoing difficulties with the online National renewal system, all roster updates will need to be indicated via pen-and-ink changes on your unit’s hard-copy roster.
  3. Submit the completed hard-copy unit roster, along with unit payment (cash, unit check or debit/credit card) for all renewing members at your District’s September 4th Roundtable.

Renewal fees are as follows:

  • $150 for youth members in Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, Venturing & Sea Scouts
  • $77 for adult members in Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, Venturing & Sea Scouts
  • $115 for youth members in Exploring
  • $62 for adult members in Exploring
  • $15/person for Scout Life

*Note: You & your families may receive an automated email and/or text message from “Scouting America” regarding online membership renewal. Please disregard these messages and pay your unit directly so that we can better track and complete your membership renewal locally.
