Unit Renewal
The Unit Renewal process is completed annually & verifies the active, registered youth and adults in the unit, along with confirming current Safeguarding Youth Training. Updated rosters, member renewal payments, $100 unit renewal fee & signed charter agreement are due by January Roundtable.
Your unit representative who attends the November 6, 2025 Roundtable will receive a hard-copy roster of youth and adult members. Due to ongoing difficulties with the online National renewal system, all roster updates will need to be indicated via pen-and-ink changes on your unit’s hard-copy roster.
- All members being renewed should have a checkmark placed in the “renew” column next to their name.
- All members being dropped should have a checkmark placed in the “drop” column next to their name.
- All members adding Scout Life Magazine should have a checkmark placed in the “SL” column next to their name.
- Any new youth or adult members being added should be handwritten at the bottom of your roster & paper applications should accompany your roster at turn-in.
- Any position changes of adult leaders should be indicated by crossing out old titles & writing in new ones.
Fees are as follows:
- $150 for youth members in Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, Venturing & Sea Scouts
- $77 for adults in Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, Venturing & Sea Scouts
- $115 for youth members in Exploring
- $62 for adults in Exploring
- $100 flat, annual unit renewal fee
