Family Camping Awaits Adventure
Families from across North Florida come together for weekends filled with fun, laughter, and outdoor adventure. Family Camp is more than just camping — it’s about creating memories, strengthening bonds, and discovering the joy of the outdoors together. Whether you’re brand-new to Scouting or a longtime member, these camps are designed for everyone to enjoy.
At Family Camp, the whole family can join in the excitement. Days are packed with activities for all ages — from outdoor games and family hikes to hands-on crafts and creative projects. Evenings bring campfires, songs, and of course, s’mores, as families gather under the stars. It’s the perfect chance to step away from screens, share new experiences, and build friendships that last far beyond the weekend.
The highlight of the year is our council-wide December event: Winter Wonderland at Camp Shands. This festive weekend transforms camp into a holiday celebration, complete with seasonal crafts, special programs, and plenty of holiday cheer. Families can sip hot cocoa by the fire, enjoy magical evening activities, and make memories that feel like a holiday tradition in the making. Winter Wonderland is truly the can’t-miss Family Camp of the year.
