COPE Level 1 Instructor Training

The COPE (Challenging Outdoor Personal Experiences) program helps youth become the leaders of tomorrow.  You can help expand their horizons and help youth build confidence by becoming an instructor. We will provide instruction on the proper techniques of climbing, belaying, rappelling and facilitation of COPE, this training is for registered adult Scouters, Sea Scouts or Venturers 18 and up. Those that complete this course are part of the team that can run the climbing wall at St Johns River Base or Camp Shands.      

Cost $45  per person

Includes all materials, and meals bring a sack dinner on Friday. You will be housed in AC buildings.Bring personal Bedding or Sleeping bag and toiletries.

COPE Level 1 is a prerequisite to the Lvl 2 Course
