Distinguished Eagle Scout Award

• Nominators must ensure that ALL award requirements are met, including nominee accomplishments of a regional or national stature.
• DESA Nomination Form Application.
• Nominations for this award will be received by the committee throughout the year. There is no annual limit to the number of award recipients. The completed application, supporting documentation and letters of endorsement from community leaders should be hand delivered to the council service center or sent by registered mail to:

• Nominators (Anyone other than the nominee) will be notified of the receipt of the application and the decision of the local committee to forward the application to the national committee.
• National Committee review can take 1 to 3 months.
• DESA recipients will be notified by the Chair of the NESA Committee and will be recognized in accordance with national council recommendations.
