Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) invites Scouts, their parents and leaders to help with an immediate short-term service project opportunity.  At least 6,200 children die a day from hunger-related causes (UNICEF).  Your participation in this short-term service project opportunity can make a huge difference in the lives of thousands of impacted children.

FMSC is a Christian nonprofit ministry founded in 1987 providing nutritious meals to starving and malnourished children in 70 international countries.  FMSC meals are hand-packed by volunteers and distributed through a network of localized partner organizations.  There are currently 1,306,128 volunteers registered across the U.S., feeding 999,110 needy children for an entire year.  FMSC’s new goal is to provide 1 million meals a day for starving children worldwide throughout 2019.  Our local Northeast Florida contribution will be 147,000 meals towards this figure.
