Goodwill and The Boy Scouts of America, North Florida Council is teaming up once again for the community-wide service project, Good Turn for Goodwill. The project helps teach the importance of recycling and philanthropy.

Every Scout who participates has the opportunity to earn a Good Turn for Goodwill patch and the individual Scout who collects more bags than any other Scout will be awarded with a prize pack and Unit pizza party!

Last year, this program helped Goodwill to obtain more than 2,000 bags of donated items. These donations help to maintain our mission of helping people in our community with barriers to work find meaningful employment. Along with the Good Turn program, Scouts can get tours of the Goodwill stores to show the “journey of a donation” and how these items are used to support Goodwill's overall mission.

I look forward to working with all of you during this program and am excited to beat last year’s numbers!
