NRA 2023 Spring Certification Class

This is a 2-weekend & 1-day course. Participants MUST attend both weekends and Frontier Day to receive their certification.
Must have completed one of the Basic/Pre-qualification Day Classes- August 20, 2022 or January 28, 2023 (This is to determine the learner skills before he/she begins instructor classes. They have to show proficiency in shotgun, rifle and pistol before starting the course.) Basic class completion cert # will be required to register for this class.
Weekend 1 - February 17-19, 2023
Frontier Day - March 4, 2023
Weekend 2 - March 10-12, 2023

Course Completion and Certification are Required to Use North Florida Council BSA Ranges
The course offers basic instructor training for rifle and shotgun as well as Range Safety Officer
Contact Training Chair for age requirements. U.S. citizens only. $85 non-refundable deposit holds your spot. 

• Due to advance costs of this course refunds will not be given. 
• Attendance is limited to the first 16 paid in full
• Instructor certification fees will be directly paid to the NRA via their on-line site by the candidate. NRA membership, while not required, is highly recommended.
• Instructor candidates are required to participate in the NFC Frontier Day, March 4, 2023. 
• Instructor candidates are required to attend both weekends of the course. (Feb 17-19 & Mar 10-12)
• All firearms are provided. You may not bring your own firearms. 
• DO NOT bring your own ammo
