KODIAK CHALLENGE

Kodiak is a challenge to youth who want to Lead the Adventure. You may have learned the basic leadership and personal development skills from other courses or programs, but Kodiak is designed to challenge you and put those skills to the test! Kodiak is a good bridge between ILSC, NYLT, & NAYLE. Our trek will start and end at Camp Shands, but we will make an excursion to Ocala! Activities may include COPE, Caving, Mountain Biking, Backpacking, Small-Boat Sailing, and more! The beauty of Kodiak is that the participants actually take part in the planning of the event so they can get hands on trek experience. The last 2 days of our challenge will be planned by you, our Kodiak bear cubs, so that you may earn your shiny Kodiak medal!

Open to all Scouts 14-20 years old / Male or Female

Check-In opens Friday at 6pm
Check out Monday at 4pm

Fee includes all activities, all meals, camping fee, a patch and insurance. Be sure to bring your camping gear and a camp chair.
