Seabadge Course 

Southern Region, Sea Scouts, BSA presents Seabadge Course SB-40-FL-2019

Seabadge is an intense leadership and management training focused on the "how-to" aspects of managing a successful youth-led Sea Scout program. 

While the course is geared towards Sea Scout leaders, it is open to all adult Scout Leaders and is especially useful for Scouters who lead older Scout patrols or Venturing Leaders or deal with older Scouts in any capacity. 
*Participants MUST be a registered adult member of the Boy Scouts of America and completed basic training for Scouting position and, if a Sea Scout leader, Sea Scout Adult Leader Basic Training. 

Goals of Seabadge:

  • Improve understanding of leadership, management, and motivational skills
  • Provide management, leadership and presentation skills and tools
  • Use skills and tools acquired at Seabadge to improve quality of the Sea Scout program
  • Encourage development of lifelong contacts and sharing of resources by and between course participants and staff. 


Cost is $125 per person. Fee includes meals, high-performance t-shirt, cap, nametag, and indoor berthing. 
Registration after January 4, 2019 are not guaranteed t-shirt, cap or nametag.
