North Florida Council, Learning For Life
It is the mission of Learning for Life to enable young people to become responsible individuals by teaching positive character traits, career development, leadership, and life skills so they can make ethical choices and achieve their full potential.

Learning For Life, Inc, has been a partner in education with Northeast Florida's school systems for over 10 years. This school year over 47,000 students in Duval, Baker, Nassau, Bradford, Columbia and Putnam counties are participating in the Learning For Life Character Education Program. Learning For Life also serves over 3,000 Special Needs Youth in the North Florida region annually, with a joint program with the Girl Scouts of Gateway Council. This unique program, called the Classroom Scouting Program has been in existence for close to 30 years.
Finally, the North Florida Council, Learning For Life is responsible for the Metro Exploring Program. This is a career exploration program designed for high school age youth. At the end of 2006 there were 422 Explorers participating in 25 Posts.
